Background
The brief for production of the 24sevenchallenge.co.uk website was to create a website that would raise money for the charity CLIC Sargent and integrate with the running of the 24 hour endurance event that encompasses 7 challenges.
The idea behind the event is to reflect the nature of support that CLIC Sargent provides for children with cancer and their families. The site was developed with the event organisers, Perfect Motion Events, to allow indiviual participants or teams to log their fund-raising in the lead up to and during the 24 hour challenge.
Within the members area is a wall functionality where, as the participants raise more money it displays more information that competitors will need to succeed in the event. The site also allows users to donate money to people taking part in the event and includes the ability to add Gift Aid to all donations.
As with all webDNA websites, all content on the 24sevenchallenge website can be edited by the client using their bespoke content management system (CMS).
